What your homepage actually needs.

Five useful answers before another section gets added.

Start with the offer

A visitor should be able to say what you do after reading the first screen. Name the service, who it is for, and the next step. A short, specific sentence usually does more work than a paragraph of brand language.

Show something real

Use a finished project, a useful product example, or a genuine customer review. Put evidence close to the promise it supports. You do not need a wall of logos if two examples explain the quality of your work.

Answer the buying questions

What is included? How does it work? What information do you need from me? If the answer is long, offer a short version and a way to read more. Let visitors choose their level of detail.

Make the next step easy

Use one clear action, such as Request a quote or Book a call. Repeat it where someone has enough information to decide. On a phone, test the entire journey with one hand—including the form.

Give every section a job

Before adding a section, finish this sentence: this helps the visitor understand, trust, or do something. If you cannot finish it, the page may be stronger without that section.

Turn the idea into a plan.
